HACKENBACKER WIN AMPS AWARD FOR 'KILLING EVE' SERIES ONE
We are thrilled to be the proud winners of an AMPS award for our work on 'Killing Eve' for Sid Gentle Films and BBC America
The award which recognises Excellence in Sound For Television Drama was presented to the sound team at a ceremony at the Soho Square HQ of Dolby Laboratories in London.
'Killing Eve' which took the world by storm in 2018 is an obsessive cat and mouse story centered around two brilliant and fascinating women, featuring award winning star turns from Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer accompanied by a bold and original soundscape.
The music on the show is supervised by Catherine Grieves, with an original score by David Holmes and Keefus Ciancia.
The sound team comprised of Tom Williams (Dialogue Editor), Oliver Brierley and Alex Fielding (ADR Mixers) Darren Banks & Alex Gibson (Sound Effects Editors), Ciaran Smith & Stuart Bagshaw (Foley Engineer & Editor respectively) with Nigel Heath & Brad Rees on mixing duties.
The show was sound designed and edited in-house, along with the mixing, which took place in our AMS Neve equipped Studio One.
