HACKENBACKER SOUND TEAM PICK UP BAFTA TV CRAFT AWARD
We're delighted to announce that the Hackenbacker sound team have been awarded the 'Best Sound: Fiction' BAFTA TV Craft Award for their work on the international hit show Killing Eve.
The show also went on to win 'Best Drama Series' at the BAFTA TV awards, whilst Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw picked up 'Leading Actress' and 'Best Supporting Actress' awards respectively.
Enjoying his third BAFTA win, Nigel Heath, Hackenbacker Founder and Re-Recording mixer on the show, commented "It was a real joy to work with our friends at Sid Gentle Films on this wonderful production. I'm so very proud of each and every member of the sound team and of their highly original and hugely creative work on the series."
Executive Producer of the show Sally Woodward Gentle added: "We are overjoyed for the sound team both on set and at the wonderful Hacks. Nigel and co. took the glory and wildness of the show and ran with it. Their invention and attention to detail is such a joy, and the enthusiasm with which they embrace ‘more’ is a pleasure to work with".
The win continues a great 2019 for Hackenbacker, who in March won the AMPS Award for 'Excellence in Sound for Television Drama', again, for their work on Killing Eve.
Congratulations to all the winners and nominees across all categories, who have proven what a stellar year of television it has been. You can view the full list of nominations here.
